The lecture will cover the latest research from the Diana Project and give us an overview of the Diana Project’s history and extension into Diana International. Diana International is an effort to encourage and facilitate international research on the growth and financing of women-led ventures.
Some of the issues that will be discussed are this lecture are:
– access to capital
– bootstrap financing and the growth of the business
– supply and demand of Venture Capital
The lecturers will also discuss policy recommendations from their research.

The lecturers work at different universities in New Zealand, USA and Germany. They are all members of the network Diana International. The purpose of Diana International is to investigate the perceived disconnect between opportunities and resources in equity funding for women-owned businesses, especially those related to high growth firms.
