Serial Entrepreneurs and the Pursuit of Opportunities

Serial entrepreneurs start businesses many times, so we may be able to learn from their patterns of actions. I will focus on the process of formulating an opportunity idea into a business. Instead of looking at opportunity recognition as a creative and magical event, serial entrepreneurs develop and refine their ideas over time. They use their social networks to access new information and resources, and to talk through their ideas. They also develop their ideas at the same time as discovering and organising useful resources. The lecture will explore these issues through discussion of theories and case studies.”
