Lecturers: Maria Elmquist, Chalmers University of Technology, Bill Gartner, Clemson University, USA, Carin Holmquist, Stockholm School of Economics, Bengt Johannisson, Linnaeus University and Jönköping University, Vinit Parida, Luleå University of Technology, Karl Wennberg, Stockholm School of Economics and Caroline Wigren-Kristoferson, Lund University.

About the lecture:

Welcome to an anniversary lecture with many favorites on repeat. ESBRI has been organizing Estrad since 1997, and we have now reached the 150th lecture in the series.

We have invited four of Sweden’s most prominent young researchers: Maria Elmquist, Vinit Parida, Karl Wennberg and Caroline Wigren-Kristoferson. They will deliver quick pitches of their current research projects and argue how they want to move the field of entrepreneurship forward. Their research interests include open innovation, ICT, networking small businesses, gazelles and academic entrepreneurship.

We have also invited three of the real heavyweights of the entrepreneurship field: Professors Bill Gartner, Carin Holmquist and Bengt Johannisson. They will comment on the research of their younger colleagues, and discuss the current state and future of the field of entrepreneurship.

Do you have ideas on how entrepreneurship research should be developed? What important knowledge are we missing today? Take the opportunity to ask your questions to our knowledgeable panel.

We look forward to a fun discussion ending with the traditional Estrad Glögg.
