About the lecture:

In this lecture, Professor Saras Sarasvathy introduces his theory of effectuation, which has received considerable attention in international entrepreneurship research. “Effectuation can best be described as a logic of entrepreneurial problem-solving and decision-making. Sarasvathy believes that entrepreneurship is a method that can be used to solve all kinds of problems. How does an entrepreneur actually go about thinking?

Professor Sarasvathy begins with an introduction to his theories and then discusses policy implications based on his research. There will also be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
