Last week, ESBRI revealed<\/a> which universities have delivered the most dissertations in innovation and entrepreneurship research in 2023. Now we also have the full list of the most ambitious universities over the last four years – with completely different universities at the top.<\/h3>\n\n

Between 2020 and 2023, a total of 159 PhDs were awarded in innovation and entrepreneurship research. The three universities that have completed the most dissertations are Lund University (19), J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping University (16) and Link\u00f6ping University (13). The full list is below.<\/p>\n\n

– It is a great honor to be so high on the list. Entrepreneurship research has been part of our focus for many years. To further strengthen our position for the future, we are strategically investing in our profile area called “Entrepreneurship in context”, which is about attracting talented researchers with different specialties but united by an interest in entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n

Majority of researchers are women<\/h2>\n\n

Of the 159 doctoral students who received their doctorate in innovation and entrepreneurship research in the last four years (2020-2023), 90 are women and 69 are men. The biggest gender difference was in 2021, when twice as many women completed a thesis<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
